The Scope of the Website
Every Christian website has its own emphasis. Some are apologetic. Some are polemical. Some are journalistic. Some are sermon-based. This website is called, “Christian Teaching” because it contains teachings related to Christianity. I wanted to make it broader than “Biblical Teaching,” not because my content is primarily extra-biblical, but because I want to equip believers to interact with Christianity in its primary facets.
A Short History
In my early teens, I dabbled with the idea of a Christian magazine and many other dreams that would take more work and expertise than I imagined. Yet those dreams were a start.
In 2013, I decided to apply that burden to a newsletter called Inside the Bible: Weekly. That soon transitioned from being an email newsletter to a website called itbweekly.com. In 2015, I transitioned to InsidetheBible.ca to add clarity to what I write about.
But in 2017, I had a burden to expand again to include a comprehensive website with beginning-to-end teaching for God’s people. With this domain name, it includes a scope that includes but is broader than Bible exposition.
